Susan Riley, usually just called Sue, is the daughter of Bill and Arlene Riley and sister of Tom and Denis. She is about ten years older than Denis and the difference in age kept them from being close. She did babysit him a lot when in high school.
Sue graduated from high school in Colorado, before her family moved to Bradford, Michigan. She went to University of Colorado, graduating Magna Cum Laude in business. She wasn't intentionally following her father when she applied at General Hardware and started in the marketing section. Sue was engaged to Ron in 1989 and planning to marry in New York when she returned to visit the family and discovered her new sister. Although shocked, she became very accepting of Eve, unlike their brother Tom. It is implied that Eve was Susan's Maid of HonorGM21 while she served at Matron of Honor for her sister. By 1993 she was still in Endicott and "she had a new baby in the house at the time".GM24
