Summary
Bree saw signs of a thermal a little distance off and spent a long time over West Turtle Lake Club gaining enough height to look for it and stand a chance of returning to land if she couldn't find lift. She did find the lift and gained enough height to make it home with a high speed racing finish.
Howie Erikson and Jared Wooten were tired by an extra tough football practice. Howie complained about Misty always wanting things her way. Jared's dad, Jim Wooten, met them after practice and offered them a lift but he had to collect a sign from Spearfish Signs. They witnessed Bree speeding through a finish gate a few feet above the ground before landing the glider.
