Summary
The two day drive gave Amanda plenty of time to think about the Rag Doll, Zack Reeves, her commitment to the family business, and Ron and Cordy. During the second day she and Jake passed Adam Caldwell towing the Knick-Knack.
At Winchester there was discussion about how the work will fall out with Nate and Barb Kunkle not around. It looked like Amanda would mostly be taking the Coho out on her own with two or three customers. There was also work getting the boats ready for the season and back into the water.
When Adam got there he transferred things from Knick-Knack to Moonshadow, and once Moonshadow is in the water he moved aboard. He agreed to help out as deckhand on the Chinook some days.
The first day of the fishing season Amanda took the Chinook out with Adam as her deckhand, so that she really was in charge and her parents weren't looking over her shoulder.
