Summary
Emily told Kevin about the possibility of her taking over the paper and he supported the idea.
Emily drove Kayla over to the Bacons' house so she could spend time with Rachel. After sitting round for a while Kayla and Rachel decided to run the 7 or 8 miles to the Holst house in Bradford and Rachel's mum would collect her later.
When the gas pump at the Spee-D-Mart ran dry a couple of days before the planned closure Sharon Van Tyle told Emily they may as well close up and go.
Emily went to the Courier office to find Lloyd Weber clearing out his desk. He complimented Emily on the work she and Dave Patterson were doing with the paper since they'd taken it over.
