Summary
Henry took Tricia shopping to replace her rather elderly car with something newer, smarter and with four wheel drive.
Randy Clark asked if Tricia was interested in going surfing at the weekend as conditions looked reasonable. He said they'd need camping gear and wet suits as the Lake Superior water would be cold. Henry agreed it would be a fun trip and said they could rent what they needed from Spearfish Lake Outfitters.
Camping and a campfire were new experiences for Tricia on the Friday night. Randy and Trey gave Henry and Tricia some lessons and they enjoyed themselves. Sunday's waves were better than Saturday's and they agreed they'd like to try it again. Randy suggested they might like to join them on a winter trip to Florida or Costa Rica.
When they got home Henry found a message that Cindy had tried to commit suicide and thought he should go to Decatur to see her. Tricia persuaded him to get a night's sleep in her bed before driving.
