Summary
Jennifer used Skyhook as a moving van to bring Will and his possessions to Phoenix. They had about a week together at their new ranch before he reported for duty at Luke AFB. During that week they bought a couple of horses and got a horse trailer with them.
Heading north to the Bar H Bar ranch for Christmas Will drove his pickup towing the horse trailer and Jennifer flew Magic Carpet, so they could get to their cabin. For the return to Phoenix, Will loaded Mudfoot and another horse into the trailer and Robin rode with him in the pickup.
Robin started at the local high school in January as well as caring for the horses and housekeeping at the ranch.
Hearts of Gold got their first referrals and residents moved into the bunkhouse even though they didn't have a full time house mother yet.
Late in January Will was offered the same re-enlistment bonus for three years as he'd previously been offered for six years. As he was almost sure of being at Luke for most of those three years he took it.
Mid February Brenda Hodunk phoned Jennifer to let her know when the documentary would be aired on WNN Newsmagazine. Jennifer used the showing as an opportunity for an open house at their ranch, and Norma extended it to be a Hearts of Gold open house as well. Norma got Nanci Chladek to one side and offered her the house mother position, which Nanci turned down because she would be going to seminary in Kentucky in September.
