Summary
Jennlynn returns to Lambdatron, since the media frenzy has largely died.
Jim brings Leroy with him and they meet with Stan, Jon and Tanisha. Leroy describes his investigation into Kwame, which included a visit to the church:
- The congregation has shrunk to a core of mostly older members;
- His income seems to have been reduced as well;
- He maintains a somewhat clandestine affair with a white woman, Myrna Frederick, who is known to be free with her favors, though not for any compensation;
- 2–3 years prior he had an affair with another white woman, Vivian Hammerstrom, who vanished under mysterious circumstances.
Jon and Tanisha, after a bit of short-hand discussion, plan to stage a controlled meeting with Kwame to let him know that Tanisha is well guarded. Jim Bricklin is confident that appropriate local security can be arranged for such a meeting.
