Leroy Kingfisher worked for Halloran Security as a field investigator.

He first appears in Chapter 18 of the book Growing Together (around 2002) where he oversaw the investigation of Kwame Blythe in Saint Louis on behalf of Lambdatron and assesed the risk potential to Kwame's sister Tanisha.

Kingfisher was a solidly built, conservatively dressed black man in his early forties. He once worked in St. Louis, but had since transferred elsewhere, returning to visit the city on occasion. He portrayed a "hood" while investigating Kwame and his congregation.

In particular, he had some conversations with Martin Clemmens, suspected of being an enforcer for Kwame.^GT18
