Myrna Frederick was the mistress of Kwame Blythe in early 2002. She was described by Leroy Kingfisher as "a white woman in her twenties who Blythe spends some time with occasionally. It's common knowledge among the congregation, but not exactly public. Needless to say, there are those who think having a white mistress does not appropriately befit the manner of a man of the cloth."GT18 Further investigation revealed that "Miss Frederick has something of a reputation for being free with her favors, especially with black men, but does not appear to seek financial remuneration for them." or as Kwame's sister, Tanisha Chladek said, "She's not a hooker."GT18
It was never confirmed when Kwame's wife Shantel Blythe learned of this and other affairs, such as Vivian Hammerstrom.
At some point in early 2002, Martin Clemmens was convinced Myrna was the source of information others discovered and started assaulting her.GT20
