Summary
As they drive north they see that they missed a large snowfall during their time south. They get to Roger's house late, but not too late for some time to relax in the hot tub, already heated by the neighbor
At breakfast at Becky's Cafe, Roger has a quiet word with Jason, asking him to look into how much his house might sell for. They next meet with Ralph who has had an appraiser give a valuation of $600,000 for the Homer Smith estate. They anticipate Delmer's displeasure and Catalina decides she won't easily settle for less.
The trio arrive separately from Ralph. While Delmer explodes at the counter offer as expected, Harold tries to calm Delmer and give him rational advice. Ralph will submit a petition with the probate court in Hawthorne.
