Bill Simpson is the owner and operator of the Wamputa Beach campground, a nudist resort in western Florida. Bill got into the naturist lifestyle from his wife, "and she just about had to drag me here."^CAT11

When younger, Bill worked at the Ford Rawsonsille plant until retirement. He also raced street stock cars at Flat Rock, Michigan until he found he wasn't enjoying it.

He has attended Comic-Con in Chicago, although with his purchase of Wamputa Beach in 2005, he didn't attend that year. He did attended the Comic-Con in Cleveland in 2006, meeting Bonnie Smith again there. Bill appears to be single at this time, but whether from divorce or his wife's death is never stated. When introduced, it was obvious Bill and Bonnie have known each for a few years, but not how they met. They both shared strong common interest in Anime and Nudism.
