Summary
John takes the snake to see Pam, who has brought in her professor, Frank Gerjevic. They discuss how the snake has been living in the sewer system, and that the proposed separation project would likely destroy the habitat. They are not able to confirm the species of the snake.
Mike and Kirsten are sitting in the kitchen, putting off sorting through things for the moving day.
Kirsten is unhappy that Mike had told Tiffany that they would think about getting a dog after they had moved, until Mike pointed out that Tiffany had been asking for a pet snake at the time. That bit of news causes a 180 degree change in Kirsten's attitude.
Frank, Pam and John discuss the possibility of Pam spending the summer looking for the snake to see if it really is a Gibson's Water Snake. John wants to have a receipt for the snake to ensure he gets credit for the find.
Mike and Kirsten take Tiffany and Henry to the new house to find that Mark & Jackie are their new neighbours, and have been looking after the house for Binky. Mark tells Mike & Kirsten about the road being known as Busted Axle Road. Tiffany soon finds Cumulus and enjoys playing with him. The adults start discussing the possibility of having dog teams and sleds.
