Summary
Jack knew he couldn't out-run Frenchy's car on the state road so decided to let them get close and use the bear spray. When Frenchy braked sharply in front of the jeep he and his buddies put their gas masks on and jumped out of the car. Jack spottd the masks and reversed before turning round to escape.
Jack led Frenchy through a series of two-ruts hoping either to lose him or for him to get stuck, without success until he took a risk at a steep, sandy hill-climb. The jeep made it but Frenchy's Eagle Talon got stuck part way up.
