Summary
Susan visited Myleigh Hartwell-Harris again to discuss college choice. Despte the financial concerns being important, Myleigh advised her to "pick the place that is best for you in the long run." and to investigate grant and scholarship programs. Myleigh also pointed out that Southern Michigan was new, flexible and innovative making it more exciting than an established college. As a result Susan's top three colleges to look into and visit were State, Grand Valley and Southern Michigan. Planning a campus visit to those three was becoming more of a priority.
The Monday evening school board meeting took place in the cafeteria instead of the library because of the expected attendance. The contentious issues of adding a review of the superintendent's contract to the agenda and then the motion to terminate that contract were both carried 6 to 1.
