Summary

The school board meeting continued with the appointment of the high school principal, Harold Heklkinan, as interim superintendent, followed by a vote to use an executive search firm to find and investigate candidates for the vacancy.

Mike and Susan went to the Record-Herald office so she could get the story written while it was fresh in her mind.

While they were gettingthe papers outon Wednesdaymorning Harold Hekkinan walked into the Record-Herald office to ask Susan to return to the high school at least this Friday morning and some other times so she'd have the option of receiving an American high school diploma next spring.
