Summary
Getting up early, Amanda drove round the area of Sims Boat Yard a little to find a convenience store, hardware store and diner. She had breakfast at Earlene’s Kitchen before going to the boat yard to start work. She had about filled her car with things removed from the boat when Ron arrived with two buddies, Shades and Zack, to help out. Ron and Shades took a couple of car loads of things from the boat to Amanda's storage shed, including the dead battery.
Shades rigged the bilge pump to the battery from Ron's car so they were able to pressure wash the inside as well as the outside of the boat.
A good day's work to start the project. The guys all said they'd be back when they could to help out.
