Summary
After seeing Zack off Amanda was feeling down and Beffy reduced the loneliness.
Even waiting for better weather Amanda had a fairly rough crossing to Ft. Pierce in Florida. When she got in she phoned Zack and had to leave a message. He phoned back saying he had a day off coming and would come down to meet her.
Zack persuaded his friend Rowley to drive Amanda's car so they could leave it for her. He told Amanda the result of his talks with Chief Barnes and that he'd be transferred to the Coast Guard Reseerve at Cheboygan in June and working for the Lewis family at Winchester Harbor .
