Summary
Over breakfast Amanda and Cordy discussed plans to take the Rag Doll out for the first time. Amanda wanted Cordy on the helm at first because she knew the channel out of the bayou to the river and the dinghy inflated in case they needed it. Once out on the river they got the sails up and spent a few hours at different angles to the wind and identified a few problems to be fixed. While sailing Amanda called home and spoke to her father.
Amanda was excited by the success of the day and decided to top it off by inviting Zack into her bed for the night. Beffy joined them in her usual spot on the pillow when they settled for sleep.
