Summary
Having gotten into Corpus Christi, Texas early the MMSA crew had a free afternoon. Arlene sugested to Mel that they could check out the beach on Padre Island. They talked about how their friendship wasn't as close as it had seemed in Fort Lauderdale, mostly because the rest of the crew was around.
Ace Wheeler made a pest of himself with Arlene. Mel told him to back off but he said he'd eventually get his way with her. They ended up fighting and Mel knocked him out. Another pain in the ass got a "Railway Express" job.
