Summary
After Sarah cleaned out the rocket boxes Angie told her it was likely they'd have tryout swampers for most of the other trips and Sarah would supervise them in the task.
Al said he'd had good reports of her and offered her a job for the rest of the summer.
Nanci was asked by Reverend Miller to take the Sunday services at Hillside Methodist Church that Sunday and Preach suggested that Sarah could take the service ar Flagstaff John Wesley Fellowship. Despite Sarah's misgivings she gave a good service and several people asked her to return sometime.
Nanci and Sarah's second trip of the summer was different from the first; different campsites, different camp fire stories. It was marred by one customer who complained constantly.
Sarah asked Nanci about her friendship with Kevin Haynes. Nanci explained thay they were good friends but had different aims in life which meant anything more was unlikely to work well. Sarah seemed to be developing more of a friendship with Kevin.
They passed Diamond Creek Wash and were met below Separation Canyon by a ferry which took the customers away and later by GCR motor rafts which towed the Canyon Tours rafts to South Cove on Lake Mead for take out.
