Summary
When Marie Bell went to wake Alice she found her with a fever and light rapid pulse. Her neighbor Bonnie Strickland getting Alice to the doctor. Bonnie was able to get her husband Willard to bring their car to take Alice in. Dr Brege's receptionist sent them straight to the hospital.
Charles Fike called Garth Matson to fetch Dr. Luce who was at home asleep.
Herman Luce asked Charles Fike to call a meeting including Garth Matson and the local chair of the March of Dimes - Garth's ex-wife Donna Clark. Donna decided her husband Wayne needed to be there as well.
