Summary
On the three hour drive to Sonja's parents home, the couple talk about options. Sonja is still trying to avoid a confrontation with her mother. One possibility is a trip west and visit several tourist sites, such as the Grand Canyon.
Scott has been to Sonja's home before and met her parents. Gina's eyes shine in speculation of a wedding as another option. Scott arranges with his father to gather camping equipment. They can sneak things out through the backyard should Zivah be waiting on the street. Sonja goes upstairs to pack. Bob admits "Zivah is pretty strong willed. I never was able to deal with that the way I should have."
