Summary

A storm kept Mary, Matty and Adam pretty much housebound for a couple of days. Adam talked about Matty being his only heir and being able to make wise decisions about his money when that happened. Mary talked about her time with Matt and her growing up.

The third day the weather was better and Mary (with Matty) took Adam on the Mary Sue to Ballycotton Cove. Adam noted the difference between Mary's early life and Matt's, and she said “It’s still kinda strange to me, how different Matt an’ I were, and how much alike we seemed ta be in spite of it. We never had an argument, never a fight, and usually thought pretty much alike. I mean, I knew there was a chance we’d not have a lot of time together, an’ we didn’t, but what we had was wonderful, an’ I wouldn’t give it up for the world.”.
