Albert was the cousin who raised Mary Sue O’Leary in Blanche Tickle after her parents had died.

He was named as Alfred in Chapters 2 and 3 of Blanche Tickle Girl but Albert for the rest of that story and when he is mentioned in Distant Shores.

He died when Mary had just finished grade eleven^BTG2 and left her his house in Blanche Tickle.^BTG5
