Summary
Karin gets a surprise visit from Crystal. She leaves work early to try to spend some time with Crystal and they go home, where Crystal picks up the last of her things. They talk about the situation between Crystal and Randy, and also that Jon had fallen out with Pete (compare with Chapter 4 of Alone Together).
When it comes to Nanci, it appears she is being physically battered by Kip. Nanci arrives at the house beaten up, followed by Kip. Crystal tells him to back off, and when he goes for her, Crystal beats him up, and then quickly leaves before the authorities arrive.
