Glen Ellyn
Glen Ellyn is a suburb about 25 miles west of Chicago, in DuPage County, Illinois. The correct name is the "Village of Glen Ellyn". According to the 2010 census, the population was about 27,450, the community has a total area of 6.77 square miles (17.5 km2), of which 6.61 square miles (17.1 km2) (or 97.64%) is land and 0.16 square miles (0.41 km2) (or 2.36%) is water (Lake Ellyn, about 102 acres (0.41 km2) in size). Winter temperatures range from +12 to 30° F (-11 to -1° C), summer temperatures from 62 to 86°F (16 to 30°C).
