Summary
Mike and Mark arrive at Jim's to be greeted by Jim & Fred, whose grandfather had got Jim into mushing. Jim gives them advice as they set up the sleds, then they set out for their camping trip. That night the dogs suddenly break into a chorus of howls, which then stop. Mark and Mike are very satisfied.
Dale & Harper are discussing their plan to buy a ship. They decide to get a more regular ship that can then be downgraded to the yacht later, and to have a captain and a representative from the Defenders of Gaea, probably Heather Sanford.
Dale has been unable to talk to Jenny Easton about extra money, just Blake Walworth who has put them off until the next year.
Dale writes a letter to Heather telling her to stay put as they are asking for an extra $25,000 to help with her fight.
