Characters
Summary
Trey regrets his choice of classes to fulfill his English credit requirement as it's no longer the easy class he signed up for. The new Professor is a tough one, even assigning the students to watch Great Performances on PBS one Saturday night with the comment "You might care to watch it, as I expect there shall be some quizzing on Monday". Trey has plans but thinks "That's what they make VCRs for...".
Trey and his roommate are recovering on Sunday morning, preparing to watch some football, when Trey decides he'd better watch the video tape from the evening before. Instead of the Shakespeare he expected, it's what looks like a country music special and when Jenny Easton introduces her Boreal String Band, there's Dr. Harris playing a Celtic Harp!
On Monday, Dr. Harris comments "As I told you, I anticipated there would be some quizzing. What I failed to mention was that I anticipated I would be the one being quizzed" and explains to her students how she ended up with Jenny Easton. Trey is the one that asks if she might play for the students some evening.
Since he was the one that asked, Trey appoints himself stage manager for the little concert the following Thursday evening. However, unknown to Trey or Dr. Harris, Dr. Hamilton has discovered and publicized the event on his own and it's turned into a large gathering. Trey is forced to change the venue from the small chamber music room to the across-the-hallway large auditorium where he runs the lights and sound.
Initially, Dr. Harris is not happy...
