Summary

Matt was fed up of the cursing from Larry and Frenchy. He suggested Frenchy get some of his beer so they could have a drink. Matt had to drive as Frenchy directed him. The found the shed broken open and all the beer gone. Matt notice jeep tire tracks which made them think Jack Erikson had stolen the beer. Larry knew someone in Albany River who got them a few beers and they went to a fishing hole off County Road 720 to drink it. They talked about improvising some protection against the bear spray.

The mind boggles to think what Frenchy would have said if he’d known that he was less than fifteen feet from his missing twenty-four 12-packs of Schadler’s.

Jim Erikson suggested the kids should hide out at his hunting cabin. Marilyn Hvalchek protested about Jack and Vixen being there together. Jack also protested and Jim backed off for now. Jim decided to stay around so the kids could be at his house the rest of the day. Howie and Misty got into playing Nintendo.

Alan Jahnke called Jack and suggested their group of four could go out to the swimming pond in the pine barrens with food and stay late.

Mike Untermeyer called Howie looking to hang out but Howie put him off again, carefully not telling much about the time he spent with Misty.
