Talk:Regina Lawrence
I thought we decided that the C&SL Lawrence and the Clark Lawrence were the same person. --Wes (talk) 02:35, 10 July 2012 (EST)
- Yeah, I saw you changed your mind on that. But your later (HC-11) text implies the Clark Regina was there since "long before" Randy joined. I don't see how they could be the same -- unless you plan to revise.--Samuelmichaels (talk) 04:38, 10 July 2012 (EST)
OK, will change when I open it up again. If it were a common name I wouldn't bother.--Wes (talk) 11:18, 10 July 2012 (EST)
I don't see how "long before" forces a separation. At worst, Regina was part-time with both. Bud needed more office help during Kate's illness. Clark Construction wasn't busy in winters anyway. Randy's memories don't preclude her working both or even temporarily leaving Clark Construction to help out and returning after Josh got up to speed. As it is, I can imagine her work for Brent was part-time for years before Brent really needed a full-time office manager. -Dang Fool (talk) 14:34, 13 July 2012 (EST)
- Regina had been Brent’s bookkeeper since long before Randy started to work for the company, and became his office manager when her predecessor, Eloise, retired a while after Randy came aboard. If there was one key, pivotal employee in the whole business, she was it. She knew where everything was, what was happening, and had her finger on it.HC11 That doesn't sound like a part-time or seasonal employee. Wes's opinion, of course, prevails.--Samuelmichaels (talk) 14:41, 13 July 2012 (EST)
- Bookkeepers are often part-time. Despite that, undoubtedly she spent time with Eloise learning secrets. The requirement to know everything comes from being at the main office and not spending time at work sites. Actually, imagining the possible explanation makes me want to hear Regina's back story! -Dang Fool (talk) 02:53, 18 July 2012 (EST)
