1048: Column 'old_id' cannot be null

From [1]

Solved: For some reason my daily backup script invoking mysqldump had the flag --skip-opt. Removing this flag and loading this new dump (efectivley with the flag --opt) resolved the situation (dont ask me why I used --skip-opt...). All the best --147.96.5.37 13:07, 14 November 2008 (UTC)

Is --skip-opt being used in this backup?

Nice work on your Marienthal update. --User: kilobytemangler 2107 EDT 26Sep2009

As if I needed an excuse to reread every single book Wes has published... And it's not as if you can't tell I'm rereading them all about at the same time... So as a new chapter is published on BTFH, I'll take notes. Same for SOL and SFLT. Sometimes while I'm reading one thing, it'll prompt me to go somewhere else, such as gathering all the info for the Appliance Store self-defense class. That info had to come from so many different places it isn't funny, and I had no idea what to call it until I read Rod's introduction.

I noticed nobody bothered to suggest a different name than House of Mayhem. Dang Fool 13:21, 27 September 2009 (UTC)

Do you know something we don't know about George? User:kilobytemangler 1609 EDT 3Oct09

Timeline

First try. It's got some minor errors because I didn't handle months properly. I might need to break it up into decades or something. Suggestions? Dang Fool 14:53, 23 January 2010 (UTC)

Real neat! Where do you think should be posted? Why is Rocinante in red? Should colors indicate different series? --SPLTWikiSysop 18:53, 24 January 2010 (UTC)

Seconded, colour coding the series would be a good idea. I also wonder whether to increase the resolution a little bit from 600 x 400, up to maybe 1024. There is a Timelines page linked to from the main page, but I think there should also be a link to the bibliography page as well. --steve_h 12:34, 25 January 2010 (UTC)

First point, I was using the first two for experiment and intended to change colors when I added other books, but forgot. It's all in SVG, which this wiki doesn't like. Very easy to play with. I like the idea of colors for related books. I hadn't gotten that far.

Yes, the intention was for something on Timelines. I needed something because while editing some page, I'd have some chapter I wanted to include, but the year was missing. Do you remember which year Andromeda Chained takes place?

I also want to make things flexible to understand overlapping events from different books. Feel free to make suggestions as we experiment.

And now I'm rotating and adding events. Comments? Dang Fool 23:12, 25 January 2010 (UTC)

AC is Septembet 1997 to Summer 1998. I think there is room for the diagram that just shows the book, as well as by decade. The images aren't that large. How are you going to choose which items to put in? --steve_h 20:29, 26 January 2010 (UTC)

Chapter Navigation

Hello, Dang Fool, thanks for editing PUTP chapter articles (and others!) I wanted to mention that you don't need to add chapter links at the bottom. The Infobox on top (using the Chapter Navigation template) takes care of that.--Samuelmichaels 13:16, 16 September 2011 (UTC)
