Regina

So, did Regina Lawrence leave C&SL and join Clark Construction, or is this another woman?--Samuelmichaels (talk) 14:34, 15 June 2012 (EST)

Good question, and I can't answer it. I know I invented them at two different times. Let's make them separate. --Wes (talk) 22:57, 15 June 2012 (EST)

Looks like we've got a problem with that. Maybe the simplest way to deal with it is to make them the same person after all. After all, there's what? Five years between the Rumsey hiring and Hannegan's Cove? I suppose she could have changed jobs and I didn't mention it otherwise.--Wes (talk) 03:08, 16 June 2012 (EST)

I like it. It begs for the story of why she moved. Was there friction with co-workers? The easiest reason I imagine is just that the hours were bad. I could imagine her burning out at C&SL while Office management at Clark Construction is much more likely to be 9 to 5. -Dang Fool (talk) 04:30, 16 June 2012 (EST)

Mr. Evernham

The excavating supervisor was called Jerry Evernham in HC 3 and Ray Evernham in HC 23. Which one is correct? The Jerry entry in chapter 3 covers several paragraphs, the Ray entry in 23 is two sentences. He's a minor character (at least in this book), and appears only in those two chapters, so changing chapter 23 fixes it and is much simpler. -- Mike

Make the change. Must have been brain fade when I wrote it.--Wes (talk) 08:55, 13 May 2014 (EDT)

I think the "Ray" mentioned in chapter 15 is the same person. -- Mike

I suspect thet Jerry in HC15 was the brain fade. "Ray" is also mentioned in Winter Layoff as responsible for the excavating machinery and assigning operators. Very similar to HC15. -- AJH 17:53 12 June 2019 (BST = UTC+1)
