Summary
Mark took the computers home and set them up in time to have lunch with Jackie. He told her he'd decided to take the offer for Marlin.com. Jackie took the truck to deliver a sign to Hoselton and wouldn't be back by the time school finished.
After school Mark took Bree to the city library, then she sat reading until it was time to collect Becca after softball practice. Mrs. Elsasser invited Becca to play in a match the next afternoon at Blair.
Mark told the purchasers that he would sell Marlin.com and agreed a handover date of July 1st.
Becca settled in to school better than Bree. She had the softball team to start making friends with but Bree didn't seem to have anyone. At the weekend Mark took Bree flying, and let her do most of the flying. Bree also enjoyed working with Jackie on some signs.
Lieutenant Seymour, the detective in Decatur, called to let them know the police had finished with Shannon's apartment and that the coroner had released her body. He told them she was still alive when her car went into the river, but that the cause was still a mystery.
Mike and Kirsten McMahon agreed to go to Decatur to clear out the apartment at the weekend. Gill Evachevski again loaned them his motorhome.
