Summary
As Amanda drove south to see the boat Ron had bought for her she thought about how she wanted to us it and the inspiration her half-brother Matt provided about sailing away. She also thought about guys,, and realised she needed to be careful there if she was to have the life she planned; working the fishing boats in the summer and sailing somewhere warmer in the winter.
When she and Ron looked over the boat he'd bought she was unsure whether it was worth the work that would be needed. When she eventually worked out the name Rag Doll on the stern, she decided she could change it from a sad Rag Doll and turn it into a doll of a boat.
