Piute Wells

Piute Wells, Nevada, is a fictional location - it is the County Seat for Piute County (also fictional), which contains Antelope Valley, the Redlite Ranch Bordello and the Sagebrush Motel, all of which are major locations in the books Magic Carpet, Square One (and others as well).

Douglas Roberts, an attorney recommended by Shirley Hoffman, has his law office in Piute Wells. He handles the quickie divorces for Danny Evachevski and Sandra Beecham. It's not stated, but implied, that he has done some legal work for the Redlite Ranch.
