Summary
Jennifer reflects how different her social life is since she became friends with Norma and Charlie and stopped going to the Redlite Ranch.
George phoned from the Redlite Ranch asking if she could call in to discuss something he didn't want to go into details about on the phone.
At the Redlite Ranch, George talked about the ideas behind the way it was set up and how it was different from any other bordello. He had been shocked by the sudden death of a contemporary and knew only one of his heirs, and that was to get all the shares from relatives as cheaply as possible and sell out for a windfall profit. His solution was to sell enough of his two-thirds interest that he was no longer the majority shareholder, Jennifer was his first thought for someone who would keep the ideals.
