Summary
Adam and Carolyn spent an evening with Audrey Melbourne at her family's cottage on the shore of Georgian Bay. The next day they took her sailing and spent another evening with her.
On their way home Adam talked about his plans for a bigger boat, and maybe living aboard next summer. They talked about the possibility of repeating the Georgian Bay trip in Knick-Knack without settling anything.
Adam had a message to call Deke Hampton when he got back to work. The case against Children's Protective Service was moving forward and court dates might come up at short notice so Deke wanted Adam to not disappear for any length of time.
Bob had put together a recommendation to buy the building next to the Meridian plant, which Adam approved. They worked together on the plan to move production lines and staff to minimise disruption.
Labor Day weekend Adam got in one day sailing but spent the rest of the time finalising things with Beverly for the estate sale which would be the following weekend. The sale raised more than Adam had expected. With Benita's help he had Samuel's house ready to put on the market right after the sale. Benita was going to work for Beverly preparing for other sales.
After that Adam thought the winter looked boring and lonely as he didn't have any companionship lined up.
