Summary

Adam spent half a day back at Caldwell-Deerfield reviewing reports and giving Bob approval to investigate an empty building next theior plant at Meridian and take out an option on it if it looked good.

Carolyn Lewis joined him and they towed the Knick-Knack to Victoria Harbor on the Canadian shore of Lake Huron. From there they sailed, or mostly motored, north-west up Georgian Bay. On the return leg they called in at Flower Harbor to replenish supplies and met Audrey Melbourne painting on the dock. They took her to lunch and agreed to visit her family's cottage. She talked about Blanche Tickle in Newfoundland so Adam had to explain to Carolyn where and why he'd met Audrey and why he'd never mentioned Blanche Tickle to her. She agreed to keep it secret from Brittany s letting it out would also reveal that she'd spent over a week sailing with Adam.
