Summary

Adam spent a week sailing around the Canadian shore of Lake Huron with Jake Lewis and thoroughly enjoyed it, particularly as he had someone to share it with.

One evening in the week after he returned, Diane Balch from Children's Protective Services called on Adam demanding to know where the child was. She was sure he'd flown away the previous week to visit his grandson.

Deke Hampton had Reuben James photograph, and then remove, the tracking device from Adam's car. He filed a case for an injunction baring Children's Protective Services from investigating Adam any further.

In court Diane Balch confirmed her agency had placed the tracking devices on Adam's car without a warrant. The injunction was made permanent and the court ordered the agency to hand over the files without redaction.
