Summary
Crystal lets out her frustrations with her family, but Myleigh calms her with the reminder of how it could be worse. Randy praises the pair for their independence, which allows Crystal to thank her mom.
Crystal tells the story of how she got her name, repeating some of the story of Karin's trip through the Grand CanyonDW01. When Crystal explains more about how she fed her interests in the outdoors despite her family and living in Glen Ellyn; instead of a new car for graduation, Crystal negotiated a trip to OLTA.
Randy is impressed by the ambition of both girls and worries over his lack of such. He is resigned to returning to Spearfish Lake and a family business, but can't see either girl joining him there.
As they drive on, we learn just how bad Myleigh's snoring can be. Crystal and Randy have enough privacy for a cuddle and quiet talk. Randy admits the intimidation. Crystal confesses her inexperience and loneliness. She observes that she and Myleigh have agreed that they can share Randy.
