Summary

The season wound down and Phil Sharp was the first winner of the Don Boies Economy Stock Championship.

Over the winter Zack Gorsline suggested keeping the temporary track for informal dirt track racing instead of closing it when the new paved track was opened. The two tracks at the Austin farm became known as the little track and the big track.

Frank Blixter suggested they should open the new track with a race between Arlene and Mel in the restored 2 and 66 MMSA midgets - Arlene won by about the width of a wheel.
