Wallace shack

Wallace shack was a beat-up old shack on the edge of town, where Linda Wallace and her daughter Amber were living since Linda lost her job and had no income to pay rent.

There was no electricity or running water, just a pitcher pump and an outhouse out back. Heating was an old wood stove Amber and Linda had dragged in, fuelled by wood Amber cut from the fallen-down barn behind the shack.^CR2

The front door was permanently closed and they only used the back door.^CR5
