Summary
Larry Reed drives Reverend Nanci Chladek from the service at Conestoga to Tyler for their later service. On the way they pass through Lexington and Larry Reed talks about how hard it is to make a living ranching or farming and that the area is dying.
She also learns that cell phone coverage is non-existent outside the town of Tyler and is advised to get a CB radio.
Amber Wallace gets up on Sunday morning to find her mother didn't come home from the bar last night. She thinks about her options and realises her best is to graduate high school and perhaps try the army when she's 18.
