Summary
It took John some effort to calm Sally down, telling her there were times to run and times to stand and fight, and this was a stand and fight time. Mandy also took that message to heart and she learned how much she'd hurt John when she left at a time he needed support.
He set Teresa to looking on the internet for a correspondence school in Michigan he'd heard of. She found it and wasn't very excited by it but John said it was a solid fall-back position if they needed it, and maybe the lawyer they were seeing that afternoon might have some ideas.
