Not sure where to put this, but in The Next Generation he gets called Phil Wines as opposed to Wine. I did email Wes about this, and is that it should be Wine. --steve_h 23:57, 2 January 2010 (UTC)

He was called Phil Wines by a bunch of High Schoolers. Perhaps they'd been teasing him as a whiner for so long they forgot it was supposed to be singular! --Dang Fool 05:46, 3 January 2010 (UTC)

It's Phil Wines in Runner's Moon and The Next Generation, both last revised in 2007; and Wine in Facing the Storm (2009), Pulling Even (2011), and, confusingly, once in Runner's Moon. Using the principle Lex posterior derogat priori (subsequent law revokes prior law), I think Wine is the proper spelling.--Samuelmichaels (talk) 15:05, 2 June 2012 (EST)
