Sven Stromsen's Crew

The men who worked for Sven Stromsen couldn't get work anywhere else. Most had done jail or prison time. They all took a hand at everything that needed doing and some had particular responsibilities.

• Buck lived with a girlfriend he wasn’t getting along with all that well.
• Cash lived with his parents. Sven didn't think he'd last long.
• Dink was a wanderer in his forties who worked odd jobs wherever he could get them. He gave Frenchy LeDroit the clue to ask a cop about a woman who might put out for pay. He moved on after a couple of months.
• Mutt is kinda dumb. He doesn't drive, use a chainsaw or run the chipper. He lived with his parents.
• Red drove the stake truck for woodchips. Often had beer for breakfast. He gave Frenchy LeDroit a lift to and from work most days.
• Shank had done time in the state pen. He got his nickname because he'd been stabbed with a shank, took it out and stabbed his attacker with it. He drove the dump truck of firewood.
• Turk likes his beer, every now and then he goes out and gets really smashed. He'd get into a fight a couple of times a year and spend time in the county jail.
