Sarah Red Fox was a Shakahatche Indian familiar with traditional rituals, and possibly a katara (wise woman, shaman).
In Chapter 37 and Chapter 38 of the book Square One she along with Ellen Standing Bear, Ruth Standing Bear (Ellen's older sister), and Dorothy Horned Owl guided Debbie Elkstalker towards a vision quest.
Later on she was involved in Debbie's and Danny Evachevski's commitment ceremony.SQ50
