Summary
Josh pulls into Port Safety (one of the last checkpoints on the Iditarod Trail), makes a quick stop and starts the final 22 miles just 5 minutes behind the next team, so he puts in the extra effort to catch up with them.
It's been tough even to get there, and without financial support from Jenny Easton, he would have run out of money long ago. He catches up with the next team, Tiffany, as she has to put a dog into the basket as the dog had had enough.
They run together to Nome and race the final stretch to the Iditarod finish line, Josh beats Tiffany in their private two-team race by half a dog.
