Summary
On the next trip, Crystal is trip leader. They have two new swampers - Hannah and Wade (boy friend and girl friend, and wanting to run trips together).
Duane is doing well with a gearboat, and will probably become a boatman on his next trip. Andy is also doing well in spite of spinning the raft in Sockdolager.
Scooter and one of the customers get off in the bushes for a quickie, and she allows that she was glad it was this trip; she wouldn't have done it if she had been the leader.
There were a few crew changes for the next trip, and Karin managed to put herself on the roster while Al was on another trip; Jeff and Marjorie would watch the office for four days. The weather was getting quite warm, and one couple got badly sunburned; they were about to break out the satellite phone and call for a helicopter when Jim came by; they managed to borrow some calamine lotion from his first aid kit.
Karin got a lot of time with the oars; she had developed more power than she had the previous season, and ended up running Crystal and Lava.
