Summary
Dave realizes that he cannot concentrate all his efforts on writing his book; he needs to continue with his regular editing job. He makes some progress, and Shae helps him, with her talent for storytelling, and sounding out some of the scenes.
Shae, Sandy and Dayna organize a surprise visit to the kindergarten, with music and "Shaella Sunrise" from Avalon. The visit goes well, and Dave's boys are very proud of their "Aunt Shae".
They all have a great Thanksgiving dinner at JoAnne's. Dave realizes that his mother and Hazel are just two good friends, not lovers.
Shae and Dave have a dinner with Sandy and Dayna, where the latter describe their music career, in essence a summary of the book Hat Trick with some additional details.
